"MountainCommand" (MountainCommand)

In a day and age most movies give the main characters eco-priuses.... dont get me started... It was nice to see a flick have the head honcho in a fitting variety of cars. As for a quick rating of the film... Great action! Decent storyline. Acting was above average. Worth watching in theaters for the cinematic audio for sure. But i like keanu. Especially acting in a storyline such as this.
Also, not really a spoiler. But to anyone who saw the film. Did you catch at the end where the black charger goes off the edge of the dock, it had no engine or trans when you could see the underside of it. They thought they could let that little detail slip by did they...

I don't think I've ever seen an action movie where the protagonist drives a Prius. Or any hybrid for that matter.

Horrible Bosses? Be Cool? Wait, neither of those are action movies.

I saw it on Friday....Did not pay attention to the detail on the Charger. Definitely enjoyed the movie.

I haven't seen it, but touché. However, anyone who laments the use of an i8 in a film deserves to be shot by the aliens Tom Cruise believes in.

I guess action movie is the key. Ive been watching a lot of non action movies lately, so im not up to speed with the flashbang films. But i feel adding in a unique vehicle could add depth to the film. You can match the personality of the character to a similarly characterized car, things like that.

If you see it again, keep an eye out for it. And the part where he filled up the stang with gas.... In NJ pump attendants are required to pump the gas. There were no such gas attendants!
Thoughts on the dialogue though? Looking back , it was a lot of action and not a lot of discussion of the plot.

One film that stands out where I really liked the car the main character drove was the A4 wagon in Layercake. It was so low key British gangster.

Yeah, layercake was the perfect example of car to character. And the bike he rode. The a4 is like the highend mobster car. Also that yellow range rover complimented the stupidity of the idiot thieves.

Holy Hell! The attendants thing never crossed my mind. (I was born near Philly and have lots of family Jersey so I should have noticed).
I actually thought to myself afterwards, Keanu didn't come across at sympathetic as you would expect. But I'm not sure it wasn't just the script as oppose to his delivery or anything. It was kind of a get angry and mow 'em down movie but the twists and details in the story and relationships between the hit men was pretty damn interesting and well done IMO.

It seemed that everyone else told the story of Keanu, rather than keanu telling the story himself. And i would say the flaws were in the script, not the acting. But they summed up all the plot line for the most part. I only wish they could have gone in a little more detail about his wife, and how he started off his first retirement. Like starting off the movie by showing the last job that was said to be impossible. Because they almost make Keanu out to be a legend, and we dont really know exactly how legendary he was. Maybe a legitimate car chase would have been cool too. But i feel satisfied, since the matrix films were the last Keanu i saw. So this role fit him well.

The i8 is a hybrid, so it fits the criteria.
